Bersano – Barolo Nirvasco DOCG 2014 +713628 $34.95

An intense ruby red tending to garnet with slight orange reflections reveals at the nose an intense, fascinating bouquet with notes of spice and ripe fruit. The taste is rich with delicate tannins, traces of leather, licorice and pepper, matched to pleasant notes of withered violet and a hint of prunes.

Food Pairing: Game, red meats, elaborate main courses, truffles and mature savoury cheeses.

91 Pts – James Suckling, September 24, 2018

“Relatively pristine strawberries and rose-like fruits. A fruit-focused palate that has long, mellow tannins presented in a velvety mode. Impressive silkiness, good depth and balance here…”

Argyle – Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2016 +909499 $34.95

Argyle Pinot Noir is a genuine representation of the Willamette Valley. Fermented entirely in small, 1.5 ton lots and plunged by hand, Argyle Pinot Noir is blended for purity and freshness. The 2016 vintage leans darker in fruit profile with savory spice and delicate floral accents, while the middle palate is classic Argyle silkiness in texture, with persistent length.

90 Pts – Paul Gregutt, Wine Enthusiast, December 1, 2018

“The production of this well-made wine keeps bumping up, while the price and quality remain consistent. Pungent, peppery fruit flavors center around bright cranberry and plenty of citrus. There's a gentle touch of cinnamon candy also, adding extra life to the finish.”

Rocca Delle Macie – Campo Maccione Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2017 +969428 $17.95

Brilliant ruby red. Clean, pleasantly aromatic, with a distinct hint of ripe red fruit. Balanced, smooth, full bodied with an exceptionally persistent aroma of ripened fruits.

Food Pairing: Pastas, savoury entrees and roasted red meats.

88 Pts – Kerin O’Keefe, Wine Enthusiast, March 1, 2019

“Aromas of wild red berry, star anise and wild herb follow over to the easygoing palate along with dried cherry and a hint of clove. Supple tannins offer light support ....”
