2006 Stonehedge California Cabernet Sauvignon +135327 $14.95
Rated 87
VC: This easy-drinking Cabernet is overflowing with dark plum and cassis flavors. Ripe and generous, with a plush texture. If you’re enjoying this superb-value Cab within the next few months, let it breathe in a decanter to bring out its fruity character. My note: A generous, full-bodied don’t-analyze-it red with notes of blackberries and black cherries. A smoky finish. Knock it back! Food matches: pot roast.
Natalie MacLean, September 2009
