Founded in 1860 by Angelo Grigolli, Concilio began producing wine at Mori, a small village in the province of Trento in Italy's north. Over the years the company grew in size, other local families joined the venture, and in 1990 the company assumed its present form as a private company when a large group of vineyard owners became shareholders.
