In line with best tradition, the winemaking background of the Dessilani family crosses nine generations
Giuseppe, the founder of the family, was a famous vinegrower already at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Luigi, at the beginning of the twentieth century, enlarged the activity by joining together some properties purchased by the Marquis Solaroli.
Today, thankds to the last descendant, Enzio lucca, the tradition is renewed with a modern and rational viticulture. The row vineyards belonging to Dessilani are distributed in the most famous wine areas of Piedmont, where the "non cultivation" and "controleed biological battle" techniques have been adopted with indisputable results in production and management.
The production has been limited to the vintage of high-quality grapes, enhancing the fruits of the most important farms: Caramino, Cornaggina, and Lochera.
