Picard Vins & Spiritueux was established in Burgundy in 1951. It is run by the Picard family and based on values of creativity and an open mind. An association of houses and distilleries with a strong regional culture, the group proves its expertise and know-how in three sectors: still wines, sparkling wines and spirits.

Over the year, Picard Vins & Spiritueux has acquired 160 hectares of vineyards in the major wine-growing regions of France. Through its terroir approach, it main vocation is to preserve the particularity of the vineyards and the identity of each house.

Burgundy is represented by Michel Picard and the Company Vinicole de Bourgogne; the Loire Valley by Foucher Lebrun, the northern part of the Rhone Valley by Denuzière, and the southern part of the Rhone Valley by Grandes Serres.

The Grandes Serres range offers different lines to explore the Châteauneuf appellation in all its complexity and diversity. The heart of the range is composed of a selection of AOC wines from the southern Rhone Valley, such as Gigondas, Lirac, Vacqueyras, with a point in common: that little touch of Grenache, particular to Grandes Serres.

The Châteauneuf appellation is literally dissected, with an approach either by variety or by soil: 3 products are available with one dominant variety (Grenache, Mourvèdre or Syrah) or soil (sand, pebbles, chalk). This range allows you to appreciate the prestigious AOC from a different angle and to analyse its complexity.

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the Grandes Serres Estate is the house's flagship product, available in small quantities only.
