The farm's vineyards and olive groves cover an area of 40 hectares. The vines are on hill slopes 100 meters above sea level. The poor fertility of the stony loam, the abundance of sunlight and the special microclimate, make Suvereto an ecological niche for the production of full bodied wines. The grape vines are grown in the traditional way, with a very low density of plants; there are 6,500 vine stock per hectare.
