Matariki Wines is one of the pioneer developers of the Gimblett Gravels hot spot region of Hawkes Bay with its distinctive Terroir and unique sub-climate. Matariki Wines are handcrafted from a tapestry of soils grown in harmony with nature.

Matariki Wines and Aspire Wines are sister brands, each made at our premium Gimblett Gravels based winery in Hawkes Bay. The two brands support each yet they are quite different. Matariki Wines are Estate based and Terroir driven and are characteristically elegant and restrained. Aspire Wines are more forward and fruit driven, extrovert and relaxed, yet with a sense of smart, casual style. Each brand complements the other by offering wines to suit just about all occasions, and people.
