This prestigious recognition is overseen by the Essential Guide to Italian Wines, it was presented at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan by the Director of DoctorWine, Daniele Cernilli to the President of Villa Sandi, Giancarlo Moretti Polegato, on the occasion of the official Award Ceremony.

The Award is a Tribute to the Winery who embodies their respective territory’s challenges and leads with great cultural values and unique identity. The "Cru" of Cartizze is made of dense and small vineyards lying on rugged slopes, where winemakers are not only Artisans of the vineyard but guardians of the precious balance between man and nature.
