How they started

Their story began in the early years of the last century in Nizza Monferrato, the heart of the Barbera d'Asti area. In 1935, Arturo Bersano took over the leadership of the winery, which had previously been family-run.

Passion

The grapes and guarantee of the quality of the wine immediately became the distinctive features of the House, thanks to his work, the territory and the vineyard. The motto "if you want to drink well, buy a vineyard", which as a true pioneer he followed throughout his life, proved to be an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

The tradition continues

In over thirty years, the Massimelli and Soave families, owners of the Casa Vinicola, have consolidated an imposing reality of farms where, without forgetting the strength of traditions, quality grapes are produced making Bersano one of the most important wineries in Piedmont.
